The Role

The School of Health and care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses for professionals working in health and social care settings. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including Advanced Clinical Practice, Independent prescribing, and Global Healthcare Management.

As Senior Teaching Fellow in Paramedic Science you will undertake teaching and course coordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and other core activities ensuring students have an effective learning experience.

Duties

  • Lead the curation, adaptation, design and development of module and course teaching materials.

  • Teaching on modules at HE levels 4,5,6 and 7 in relevant academic subject areas delivering a variety of types of students learning sessions and supporting students, You will have demonstrable experience of successful teaching at higher education levels 4-6 in paramedic science with the development and demonstration of best practice in teaching, learning and assessment consistent with our reputation and track record as a high-quality provider of teaching and learning.

    Currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council or Nursing and Midwifery Council

  • Master's degree in an appropriate subject, or if you are registered, a good honours degree

  • A teaching qualification or extensive experience of delivering professional and/or university education.
