Full Job Description

As a Senior Teaching Fellow in Practice Education, you will support nursing and nursing associate education. Based at our London Campus, you will lead the delivery of placements for students in London and the South of England, working with other academics to enhance learning experiences. Duties:

  • Leading the development, maintenance, and quality monitoring of NHS and Non-NHS placements
  • Forecasting and allocating students to placements
  • Supporting students and staff during practice learning experiences
  • Contributing to and lead core activities that support student placement learning

    Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • Master's degree in a relevant subject or Honours Degree with appropriate professional qualification and/or membership
  • Teaching qualification or experience in delivering professional or university education
  • Our Successful Candidate You will have experience teaching Nursing Associate topics at higher education levels 4-7, demonstrating best practices in teaching and assessment. Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will enhance 'active learning' pedagogy. As an experienced team leader, you will possess high cultural awareness and effective communication skills with diverse backgrounds. Innovation and collaboration are crucial, requiring the ability to generate and implement ideas, work independently and as part of a team and engage in flexible working methods.
