Full Job Description

This is a Teaching and Learning Manager role with a difference! Working at Brinsbury College means working in a unique location, surrounded by 570 acres of stunning countryside with our very own farm, woodlands, orchard and more! You don't often get that in your standard Teaching and Learning Manager role!

You will be working alongside another Teaching and Learning Manager across the Brinsbury College campus and responsible for the areas of Maths and English, Foundation Learning, 14-16, Furniture and Upholstery.

You will work collaboratively with your team to build on the success of these areas, whilst ensuring the continued development and growth of the curriculum which will enable student needs to be met through inclusive high-quality learning and provision.

The work you do with your team will ensure that the student journey at Brinsbury College is outstanding.

As a Teaching and Learning Manager, you will also have a positive impact on staff within your curriculum team. You will support staff to enhance and improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment by coaching and providing advice, whilst encouraging and supporting risk taking and innovation.

Although primarily a management position, the Teaching and Learning Manager role requires you to teach 3 hours per week, which will enable you to lead by example and ensure you are able to continue your teaching directly with students.

Our Teaching and Learning Manager will hold a full teaching qualification and ideally have experience of delivery in one of the curriculum areas that Brinsbury College has to offer. You will bring a wealth of teaching experience from the Further Education sector and be able to demonstrate up-to-date teaching methodologies.
