Full Job Description

We are looking to appoint a class-based Teaching Partner for 27.50 hours per week with hours distributed between 8.30am and 3.30pm daily who has high expectations and who will engage in our school curriculum, values and vision to enable our children to receive an exceptional educational experience. You will work in partnership with teachers within KS1 predominantly but also across the whole school if required as deployed by the Headteacher/designated representative to raise the learning and attainment of all pupils, including those with any identified special education need including EHCPs whilst also promoting their independence, self-esteem and social inclusion We can offer you:

We have 14 classes in total, as well as an on-site nursery, catering for over 450 children; the buildings are relatively new being less than 14 years old., We seek applications from qualified and unqualified Teaching Partners who are passionate about supporting children's development with ability or expertise in the following:
  • Be able to conduct and support learning in both 1:1 and small groups
  • Be a team player who is enthusiastic, hard-working, caring, flexible and self-motivated
  • Build good professional/relationships with children, parents and staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrate expertise and skills in understanding the needs of all pupils.
  • Have an understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
  • Support class teachers with administrative duties
  • Experience of supporting children's learning in literacy and numeracy
  • Practical behaviour management experience
