Team Administrators provide comprehensive administrative support to an entire team or group of people within a locality, whichincludes having a thorough understanding of the team's operations and daily activities. Team Administrators oversee performanceactivity, ensure elements of the patient journey are co-ordinated and support short term projects.Team Administrators are an integral part of service delivery and as such professionals in this position have excellent people skills,are great at multi-tasking and prioritising as well as being incredibly organised., Overall activities of the post-holder will include:

o Facilitating the delivery of outstanding care by applying customer care principles when providing routine and complex informationand guidance to patients, carers, relatives or colleagues, both verbally and in writing. This includes communicating in a professionaland compassionate manner, especially when there may be barriers to understanding for example anxious patients, culturaldifferences, and language or communication difficulties. Responsibilities will include acting as a first point of contact for enquires bytelephone, email and face to face, liaising with colleagues in other teams, services and directorates and assessing, resolving andescalating team issues.o Ensuring the team operates effectively by undertaking comprehensive administrative tasks, such as handling teamcorrespondence, scheduling appointments, clinics and meetings, managing agendas, diary management for the team, task relatedproblem solving, maintaining stock of equipment and supplies and completion of standard
forms, surveys and audits.
