Full Job Description

The fun and hard-working Bradford District and Craven (BD&C) Healthy Communities Team is looking to welcome an energetic administrator to be at the hub of our team. You will be very important to the functioning of the team, and to the successful delivery of our priority area. We are relentless in our work for and with all of the communities of Bradford District and Craven. You will work positively and proactively across a broad range of NHS, voluntary sector, local authority and other organisations. This is a busy job, but a rewarding job, with a high degree of flexibility for the right person., You will be an integral and important member of the Bradford District and Craven Healthy Communities Team, organising and overseeing our day to day functioning. You will need to be proactive, anticipating problems and helping to resolve them. You will need to manage your own workload and raising queries with managers, peers and other colleagues.

Examples of your work will include:

Organising online Community Partnership Network meetings which take place every other month, including liaising with speakers, scheduling, sending out agenda emails, managing growing network of 450 plus people

Taking minutes for Bradford District and Craven's community partnerships on a weekly basis - these involve a diverse bunch of people who work for a broad range of organisations in health and social care.

Produce action notes and logs for internal and external meetings in a timely fashion.

Organise team meetings which happen every other week, and away days four times per year.

Manage diary of the Assistant Director on a day to day basis - resolving conflicting appointments, arranging meetings with a large number of attendees.

Prepare paperwork for formal meetings including sending agenda, minutes and papers in advance

Positive written and verbal communication via email and in person, as well as in the office.

Learn, grow and develop alongside the Healthy Communities team, as well as the wider admin team across BD&C
