We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Business Support Administrator (Full Time, Band 3) to join our award-winning service.The Bristol Dementia Wellbeing Service is a partnership between Alzheimers Society and Devon Partnership NHS Trust, supporting people living with dementia who are registered with a Bristol GP, alongside support to their carers. We are passionate about helping people living with dementia to live as well as possible, for as long as possible. We are looking for a dynamic person to provide comprehensive and efficient administrative support in our South Bristol office. You will need to have good knowledge of IT, computer literacy and word processing skills and be able to work to a high standard independently. The successful candidate will form part of our administration team and will also provide support and cover for other elements of the services admin functions, including responding to day-to-day needs of the service. The service works with people with dementia, their carers and the wider community, and the post holder is often our first point of contact for our service users. Therefore, the post holder will need to have excellent communication skills, including showing empathy and understanding. We support a rights-based approach in our service. We are committed to ensure that everyone has the right to be the person they are, to live without fear or prejudice., The post holder will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day running of the office, which will include answering the telephone, ordering and maintaining stationery, taking minutes and supporting colleagues as required. Other responsibilities will include responding to emails and typing letters, dealing with queries from a number of sources in a calm and pleasant manner and the ability to work under pressure. The role will also support the medical and psychology team with audio typing using digital dictation equipment and diary management.   • Work within an administration team supporting clinicians who provide community mental health services
  • Comprehensive diary management
  • Meetings administration; taking and distributing formal minutes; recording clear actions and following these up to check completion; maintaining attendance records
  • Frequently inputting complex and sensitive data relating to people who use our services onto electronic patient records system
  • Support the manager and team by ensuring that records are up to date on all staffing and patient systems as required and that items are dealt with quickly and efficiently on finance systems.
