Full Job Description
We are a multi-disciplinary consultancy with collaborative innovation at the heart of what we do. We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Administrator to join our friendly team based in our Eltham office. This Team Administrator role is to start end of November/beginning of December 2024 on a fixed 12 month contract with the option to extend. The role is full time, office based during 6 month probation period with hybrid working following probation completion. This is a great opportunity for someone local who is eager to make a positive impact in a supportive team environment. Supporting the technical team you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks. Role information:
- Managing day to day administration of the team which includes:
- Digital dictation
- Issuing fees and invoices and debt recovery
- Diary management
- Working on various projects across the team supporting technical staff
- Assist in the preparation of documentation relating to tender submissions/ pre-qualification questionnaires/general marketing material/ contract documentation such as specifications, schedules, employers requirements, and forms of agreement
- Liaise effectively with the clients and contractors
- Mentoring junior staff
- Ensure that information we hold is kept accurate and up to date
Have experience in invoicing, debt recovery, and digital dictation (preferred) - Be highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Microsoft Teams (Intermediate level Excel)
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be a team player with the ability to work independently
- Have office experience, with interest or experience in construction (a plus)
- Be living locally to the Eltham office (a plus)
- Have 5/C equivalent or above in Maths and English
