Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Gloucestershire Care Services NHS Trust working within the Gloucester Integrated Community Team (ICT) providing a range of administrative duties essential to the provision of quality community health services for adults.,

  • Answer the telephone in a professional, helpful and courteous manner, taking accurate messages and ensuring timely distribution
  • Respond sensitively and compassionately to service users
  • Manage and distribute all incoming and outgoing post in order to ensure effective communications for the Department
  • Accurately input data and maintain records
  • Scanning and photocopying documents
  • Diary management
  • Order and maintain and supplies

    The role is extremely varied and requires the ability to deal with a wide range of duties. The successful candidate will join a small but experienced admin team who are greatly valued by members of the ICT and contribute to the continuing development of administrative support within this fast-paced environment.
  • Candidates should be able to demonstrate previous experience in an administrative role and be proficient in Microsoft Office Packages. Excellent written and verbal adaptable communication skills are core to this role. Knowledge and experience of using SystmOne or other similar clinical systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful applicant.
