The successful applicant will be an NHS employee and may therefore have contact with vulnerable service users. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has been necessary to take significant steps to protect the health and safety of our staff, service users and those attending our sites. Unless exempt, we encourage and support staff to be vaccinated as this remains the best line of defence against COVID-19., This post will work as part of an established integrated multi-disciplinary Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Service which promotes a dynamic and innovative way of working, triaging and responding to referrals, conducting face to face assessments and therapeutic interventions working closely with other team members to provide a holistic and bespoke approach to every family on our caseload.
The team is made up of a Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Peer Support Workers, Health Visitor, Nursery Nurses, CAP's, Social Workers, a Consultant Psychiatrist, Speciality Doctors, Psychologists and Health Visitors with the support of an admin team. The team also work closely with several System partners such as Health Visiting, Maternity Services and Safeguarding.

We're an NHS community and mental health provider Trust based in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We deliver community and hospital-based care to improve people's physical and mental health. We also provide specialist support to people with dementia or a learning disability.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to provide secretarial support within the Perinatal Mental Health Service.
Essential skills required for the post include - the ability to prioritise tasks;
effective time management skills; excellent IT and secretarial skills; good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
The post holder should also demonstrate a caring and sensitive approach to their work and be able to clearly communicate with colleagues, the general public and representatives from other hospitals and organisations. To work as an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team ensuring that there is appropriate communication with other professionals involved in the care of the child and mother.
