Full Job Description
An opportunity has arisen to recruit an experienced and highly motivated Team Administrator within the Adult Learning Disabilities Service. This is a permanent, full time post, working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm. The successful candidate will work within ALD North Tees Community Team, covering both Hartlepool and Stockton with bases in each area, with the expectation of flexibility in relation to providing cover across both Team bases and for the occasional cover across other sites if required.
Applications are invited from individuals who work accurately under pressure, can be flexible and is a good team member in addition to being suitably qualified for the post of Band 3 Team Administrator.
As part of the community team, the successful applicant will provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to all members of the multi-disciplinary team. The post holder will first point of contact for service users, family and carers, responding to a range ofenquiries or concerns over the telephone., in addition to dealing with enquiries to the community team, from GPs and other professionals,taking action where necessary and ensuring messages are communicatedaccurately to relevant personnel and in an appropriate and timely manner.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written coupled with proven secretarial skills and previous experience is essential.
The successful candidates must also have the ability to be organised, efficient and have the capacity to prioritise their workload whilst dealing sensitively with issues and maintaining confidential information.
