Full Job Description

To work as part of a community integrated service that is responsive to the needs of housebound patients within a defined caseload.
Working closely with the Senior Administrator and District Nurse Team Leader, the post holder will provide an efficient and responsive administration function for the PCN Community Nursing team
Provide general administrative support including; answering telephone calls, taking messages, setting up meetings, diary management, travel arrangements, filing, archiving, scanning, maintaining stationary supplies, general faxing and photocopying as required., Acting as a first point of contact for the organisation, maintaining a calm and appropriate manner in a variety of situations and seek support as required.
Provide an effective and efficient administrative support service to the designated team to ensure consistency across the service area.
Support the delivery of a comprehensive administration and support function to the service areas to meet the needs of patients, staff, service users and visitors.
Regularly communicate with clinicians and administrative staff across the PCN's and the wider Community Teams to support the smooth running of the community nurse function.
Play a key role as a point of contact between the service and other support services, such as Estates, HR, Finance for such issues as site visits, payroll and staffing administration and processing orders and invoices.
Communicates with administrative support colleagues in other agencies to organise meetings.
Receives messages and requests for information, responding within procedural guidelines and refers to manager or clinician if necessary
Communicates meeting arrangements to Trust colleagues and external partner
