Team Administrator - Apprenticeship x2

Both teams carry out safety inspection, investigation, liaison and enforcement work with duty holders. The Southern Region Team interfaces with Network Rail in the Southern Region and Anglia Route, along with the train operating companies operating in those areas. The TfL Team interfaces with London Underground and other TfL duty holder organisations., The purpose of these roles is to provide effective administration in the Southern Region and TfL inspection teams, providing support to colleagues and enhancing the efficiency of the teams. Opportunities may arise where you are required to provide additional support to colleagues within the wider Railway Safety team. With growing rail safety knowledge, you will assist with answering queries, following up complaints, gathering information, etc., At ORR, our hybrid working means that we currently work from our workplace location a minimum of 40% of our working week, although requirements to attend other offsite locations for official business, also count towards this level of attendance. Working arrangements are subject to continuous review.

Minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 9-4, including L2 in English and Maths, + Communicating and Influencing

Technical skills
We'll assess you against these technical skills during the selection process:
+ Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft 365 packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check.
