Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced team assistant to support the Legal team within M&G plc, providing diary management to the Legal Directors (x2) for the Asset Management and Life businesses and secretarial and administrative support to the wider Legal team. The role is a fixed term contract (maternity cover)., Managing the diaries of the Legal Director (Asset Management) and Legal Director (Life), organising and supporting team meetings and events and expense and invoice management for the Legal team. This role will provide essential support to the senior leadership in the Legal function and the wider Legal team including:

  • Support the Legal Directors on day to day basis with diaries, meeting requests and organising complex meetings where required
  • Liaising with Stakeholders regarding meetings/information requests, as required
  • Travel management for Legal Directors
  • Invoice and expenses management
  • New joiner/access requests as and when needed
  • Keep up with companywide communications to keep team informed of events, announcements and company developments
  • Collate and distribute agenda for fortnightly Team meetings

    Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative or PA role which includes diary management at a senior level
  • Excellent IT skills particularly with MS Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to proof read documents
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities

  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships within the team and across the organisation
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the Legal function
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset
