Full Job Description

The sleep service at Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust provides comprehensive diagnostic testing for a range respiratory and non-respiratory sleep disorders as well as the provision and follow-up of patients on CPAP and NIV.
The post-holder will play a key role in providing a comprehensive and good quality administration service, by booking diagnostics within the sleep unit in line with Trust DM01 targets and liaising, and closely supporting, the sleep receptionist delivering day-to-day services.
The post-holder will also support the smooth running of the CPAP clinics by dealing with walk-ins, posting replacement parts, issuing sleep studies to patients and supporting with routine queries under the direction of a the clinical team., + To support patients performing sleep studies.
+ To assist in the efficient delivery of the CPAP follow-up service by supporting walk-ins, posting of consumables, dealing with routine queries and performing timely and accurate recording of observations.
+ To provide support to patients as required during their time in the department.
+ Effective delivery of Trust DM01 targets for respiratory physiology.
+ Timely scheduling of Sleep Centre diagnostic studies, and dealing with relevant correspondence.
+ Establishing, maintaining and monitoring excellent office and information systems.
+ To support the delivery of clerical and reception duties in the Sleep Centre by working closely with the Sleep Receptionist in day-to-day tasks.
+ Provision of excellent customer service to members of the public and staff who visit or contact the Sleep Centre, contribution to a positive patient experience.
