Full Job Description

In 2022 Uber set up a new division to spearhead the growth of its advertising business - Uber Advertising. By building a dedicated organisation and a suite of advertising products, Uber Advertising enables agencies and brands to reach and convert its highly engaged user base across its Mobility (Uber Rides) and Delivery (UberEats) platforms across 32 markets. As a Team Lead (Strategic Verticals) you will be tasked with helping to create, cultivate, and expand partnerships with non-endemic brands in the UK. You will also contribute to the execution of the ad sales strategy and help drive the adoption of new advertising formats on our Mobility and Delivery platforms. A very exciting role for an experience candidate, as you'll be the first to join us as a Team Lead (Strategic Verticals) for Uber Advertising located in Manchester. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Client Partners, focussed on driving revenue from clients and agencies. You will be liaising with the Partner Manager team to ensure both pre-sales and post-sale campaign supoprt, delivery and reporting.
  • Guide team members to build strong relationships with key accounts and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Accurately forecast revenues and manage the sales pipeline to ensure timely goal achievement.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers to drive business and uncover new opportunities.
  • Develop and strengthen key commercial partnerships to expand market presence and increase sales.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with senior executives to unlock new opportunities and ensure business growth.

    7+ years relevant experience in Sales or Account Management with proof of consistently delivering against targets
  • Experience managing people directly with a strong track record of coaching/developing, giving & getting feedback, and building trust with a team of sellers.
  • Experience working in a start-up or tech environment. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to switch from high-level strategy to rolling up your sleeves through to implementation
  • Strong creative storytelling skills, utilizing data to influence decision-makers
  • A proactive, go-getter attitude
