The Trust is looking to recruit four Team Leaders to work at least 1,388 hours per year across the Shakespeare Family Homes on annualised hours contracts. The contract will average 28 hours per week in the summer season and average 24 hours per week in the winter season.

You will work with the Visitor Experience Manager, Visitor Operations Manager and Duty Managers to deliver a world class visitor experience and oversee aspects of day-to-day visitor operations including the supervision of staff and volunteers.

You will adhere to fire, security, Health & Safety, cash handling and data protection requirements, and understand your own role within the emergency plans. You will be responsible for holding keys - unlocking and securing the site and grounds; undertaking checks throughout the day to ensure we meet standards desired for our visitors. You will deliver admissions and secondary spend targets; and cover the Duty Manager on duty days or at meetings.

To be successful in this role you will have experience of working in a customer-facing operation, preferably in a busy visitor attraction or similar setting. You will have experience of successfully supervising a team to deliver against a range of KPIs including financial and visitor satisfaction targets. You will possess a sound understanding of customer service principles, be able to prioritise and make confident operational decisions under pressure, and have experience of cash handling, building management and security procedures.

You will be positive and enthusiastic about working with the public. You will be a team-player, able to work alongside a range of colleagues at various locations. You will be self-motivated, able to act on your own initiative and enable others to deliver to high standards.

The post holder will be required to work over seven days and Bank Holidays on a rota basis with colleagues. There will also be a requirement to manage and attend some out of hours events.
