Haslemere is a multi-agency residential assessment service dedicated to working in partnership with a range of specialist professionals to provide care for up to six children and young people between the ages of 11-15, who present with a range of challenging and complex needs.
We are actively recruiting for 2 dedicated and passionate Team Leaders to oversee a group of key workers to ensure they are working in the context of the AMBIT model to ensure that the young people's wishes, and choices are always considered. The Team Leaders will carry out managerial tasks such as day to day shift management reflective supervision, and any other appropriate duties as directed by the Registered or Deputy Manager.
Working in the context of our AMBIT model, to take account of the choices, needs and wishes of each young person, promoting young people in their own plans and ensuring service user needs are always considered, taking into considerations their complex need and challenging behaviours. As a Team Leader you will be responsible to plan, evaluate, implement, and review individual plans to enhance the capabilities and independence of the service users.
Maintaining records of incidents, accidents and near misses for young people and employees in accordance with Haslemere's policies and procedures accurately and to organise duty rotas to ensure that the needs of the young people are always met.

You will have a commitment to delivering the highest quality care and support to children and young people. Prepared to go the extra mile, with a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic team and autonomously under your own supervision. Essential skills and qualities include the ability to work well under pressure, using initiative, demonstrate patience and understanding with an overriding enthusiasm for wanting to support and help children and young people to thrive.
It is imperative that you possess extensive knowledge of writing/reviewing home policies and procedures, and thorough knowledge of Ofsted readiness and be able to support the Registered Manager and the Deputy Manager.
Previous experience of working in a residential or school setting, a Health and Social Care NVQ qualification of level 3 and above, a flexibility in relation to the needs of the duty rota and an availability to work weekdays, weekends, public holidays and sleep in.
It is essential that all candidates must already possess a Level 3 Health & Social Care Diploma or be willing to complete a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare within 18 months of employment.
