Full Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader . You will fully support and assist the Store Manager and Assistant Manager making sure every shift runs smoothly, and your shop achieves excellence in all areas. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about coffee, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is excited about helping to manage a busy store.   • Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Management:
  • Support the Store Manager & Assistant Manager in leading your team to consistently deliver exceptional customer service
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by coaching, training, and supporting team members.
  • Act as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager and Shift Manager responsible for the smooth running of the shop, managing the team and raising any issues
  • Operational Management:
  • Support the Store Manager & Shift Manager in all aspects of store operations, including staffing and inventory management
  • Ensure high standards of product quality, cleanliness, and store presentation are maintained at all times.
  • Monitor inventory levels, and place orders for supplies as needed.
  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Sales & Financial Performance:
  • Drive sales and profitability through effective cost management, upselling strategies, and promotional initiatives.
  • Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of food safety regulations and best practices

    Proven experience as a Team Leader/Supervisor, in a café or hospitality environment.
  • Strong barista skills with a solid understanding of coffee preparation techniques and espresso equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Keen attention to detail, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passionate about creating memorable customer experiences and fostering a positive workplace culture.
