Team Leader (Adult Services)

You will be mainly office based to support your team at The Shay Stadium, in Halifax. You will have a joint responsibility with the Team Manager for staff within the team ensuring performance management, regulatory compliance, and service delivery, ensuring service priorities are met and take responsibility as required in the absence of Team Manager. You will be a proactive worker who has a proven record of working under pressure and supporting other staff members. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Working collaboratively across the Council, with partners and statutory and voluntary agencies, to ensure a joined-up approach.
• Line management of social workers and Social Care Advisors.
• Developing a high level of expertise in particular areas of practice, and leading on those areas

Our focus is early intervention, prevention, community anchors and promoting wellbeing and outcomes which you could be a part of., To apply, you need to be a qualified Experienced Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with current Social Work England registration and with significant post-qualification experience and knowledge of the Care Act 2014. You will also hold an additional post qualifying qualification such a Practice Education, Best Interest Assessor and/or Approved Mental Health Professional or be willing to work towards this within a specified time frame., Disability Confident
