Are you a compassionate and experienced professional looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Team Leader to join our client's children's residential home. You will play a crucial role in supporting children and young people aged 6 to 17 who have experienced early life trauma, neglect, or abuse and may exhibit challenging behaviors.,

  • Plan and oversee shifts with Residential Support Workers
  • Manage risks in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Communicate daily plans effectively with your team
  • Provide detailed reports and documentation using our paperless systems
  • Review and update care plans and associated documentation regularly
  • Offer positive parenting and exceptional communication
  • Stay informed on current legislation, such as the Children's Homes Regulations 2015

    Level 3 Diploma in Residential Child Care
  • OR Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce Diploma
  • OR Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner (Residential Pathway), You are an empathetic, open-minded professional with:
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in children's or young adults' residential care within the last 5 years
  • A full manual driving licence
  • A passion for supporting children and young people and a commitment to their development
  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development

    Our client is a well-established and growing organization offering a range of children's services, including Family Support, Children's Homes for LD and EBD, and Supported Living for Care Leavers. Their services span across the Midlands and the North of England.

    Salary: £37,000 inclusive of sleep-in allowance (average 10 per month) + overtime at time and a third, Competitive salary with sleep-in allowance
