Full Job Description

Our Dog Operations team is responsible for delivering the highest standards of animal welfare and care for every dog in their journey through Battersea, from intake, to their care and assessments and then to rehoming., We are currently looking to recruit a fixed-term Team Leader for our Assessing & Welfare team, to provide front line leadership and management to a team of Rehoming & Welfare Assistants and Coordinators, ensuring excellent animal care and welfare standards alongside a high-quality delivery of customer service., We are also committed to providing learning and development to our employees. The ideal candidate will have proven hands-on experience of successfully leading a team, excellent customer service skills and working knowledge of the behaviour of dogs and the challenges they face in a rescue environment with proven experience of providing advice on dog behaviour or training.
