An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join the Adult Community Health Team in West Bournemouth. The post offers a unique opportunity for aspiring and developing Band 6 staff or Band 7 Leaders looking for a new challenge. The post holder will work closely the Advance Clinical Practitioner to deliver an effective mental health service.

The post holder will benefit from support from their Integrated Service Manager and support from an effective and experienced peer network, at both a local and county wide level. You will also work closely to lead the team alongside a highly experienced and supportive Consultant Psychiatrist.

We are looking for an exceptional person to take on this role and enable the team to develop their skills, systems and the care they offer to the people and carers who the service support.

You will need to demonstrate your commitment to providing a visible, consistent, supportive management approach, acting as an enthusiastic, motivated, and positive role model, working with an experienced and established multi-disciplinary team.

As the role is both clinical and managerial you must be able to make sound clinical judgements whilst working under pressure and have the ability to manage change, demonstrating effective time management skills, as you will also have responsibility for a caseload.

You must also have a passion and experience of working with adults experiencing serious mental health issues.
