Full Job Description
- We are seeking a motivated and experienced Emergency Nurse to provide expert clinical and managerial leadership in the Emergency Department as a Band 7 Team leader Emergency Care Nurse.
- You will be expected to work clinically in all areas of the department, including Resus, assessment and as Nurse in Charge, as well as to manage a team of nurses.
- You will participate in research, audit and service development as part of the senior nursing team in the department., If you are looking for an exciting career that is both challenging and rewarding we at St George's Emergency Department are looking for a new band 7 team leader .
- The department sees a wide variety of patients from minor injuries to major traumas.
- As a team leader you will uphold the trust values while maintaining a high quality, safe emergency nursing care.
- You will be responsible for the day to day running of the department while showing leadership and clinical expertise.
- The Trust is one of only four designated Major Trauma Centres in London, with a helipad providing direct access to the ED for the most seriously injured patients.
- You will be expected to help manage safety and flow in thedepartment and achieve government targets and key performance indicators.
