We are currently looking for a Team Leader Lifestyles to join our team and lead in planning and delivering meaningful activities for our residents. From coordinating tasks within the Activities Team to ensuring there is variety in our daily events, this role is both challenging and rewarding. If you are an experienced Team Leader with a fun, outgoing approach, then we would love to hear from you! What you will be doing:
- Planning and delivering meaningful activities whilst being aware of the residents' interests as well as their physical and cognitive abilities.
- Encourage active participation in activities.
- Coordinate tasks within the Activities Team.
- Ensure there is variety in the programme of daily events.
- Working closely with care staff and family members in getting to know the residents, their interests, their experience and life stories.
- Share the best practice and encourage all staff members to take active interest in providing activities for our residents.
Creative with a range of practical skills like arts & crafts. - Able to motivate and engage with people.
- Able to create an environment that encourages participation and involvement.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Exceptional communication skills.
