Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader with a background in domiciliary care to join our team on a temporary contract basis. The successful candidate will lead a team of care workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to clients in their own homes. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of care.,
- Lead, supervise, and support a team of care workers to deliver exceptional domiciliary care services.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of clients' care needs and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to care workers, promoting their professional development.
- Handle scheduling and coordination of care services to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients, their families, or care workers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided and team activities.
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Participate in recruitment and selection of care workers as needed.
- Must be able to drive.
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Care Worker in a domiciliary care setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role., o Strong leadership and team management abilities. - Requirements:
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o High level of organizational and time management skills.
o Ability to handle complex situations with professionalism and sensitivity.
o Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
o Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
o Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
o Ability to drive.
