Team Manager

The Learning Disability and Autism Service has a vacancy for a Team Manager due to the retirement of the current post holder.

The Team provides high quality strength-based support to adults with a learning disability and/or autism across Chorley and West Lancashire.

The Team is well established and works closely with colleagues within the Council, NHS and District Councils.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Social Worker, with demonstrable skills in professional supervision and the management of teams.

The successful candidate will be able support colleagues in developing support arrangements that are strength based and ambitious in supporting adults with a learning disability and/or autism to live as independently as possible.

The successful candidate will have the skills and ability to ensure high performance in relation to timely and high quality interventions, supporting excellent practice within the team via supervision. The successful candidate will support the management of budgets by ensuring that support that is commissioned is proportionate to the strengths and needs of the person.
