Full Job Description

1. Service Oversight: + Ensure the smooth running of services, maintaining high standards of practice. + Oversee staff rota and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage. 2. Staff Management: + Lead by example, modeling best practices for team members. + Conduct supervisions and observations of staff to ensure the delivery of services with dignity and respect. + Support staff in facilitating choice for the individuals in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act. 3. Administrative Duties: + Manage finances related to service operations. + Develop, update, and maintain support plans tailored to individual needs. + Prepare monthly summaries and reports for the Area Manager. 4. Collaboration and Coordination: + Work with Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) to ensure optimal outcomes for individuals being supported. + Participate in on-call duties, primarily providing telephone support and advice to services in the North Tyneside area. + Collaborate with the Service Manager for guidance and support in addressing issues. 5. Continuous Improvement: + Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and high standards among the team. + Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

As a Team Manager, you will use a digital app called Nourish to manage care and support plans for the people we support.
