A vacancy has arisen for a highly motivated, assertive and skilled Team Administrator within the Isle of Dogs Neighbourhood Mental Health Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of secretarial and administrative functions. These include dealing with telephone enquiries, maintaining the Consultants diaries, arranging clinic appointments, taking minutes, typing clinic letters, entering appointment on the Trusts patient record system, RiO., To provide comprehensive confidential secretarial and administrative support to Service consultants and wider Multi-disciplinary team, ensuring efficient and smooth running of the unit.

To work closely with line manager to provide an efficient and responsive administration provision to the team and other administrative duties.

The post holder will be required to work in a very busy and demanding environment and should be flexible and adaptable whilst having the ability to prioritise work and use their initiative in order to make sound judgements

To work alongside and to cover, when appropriate, other administration staff across several locations in some instances.

Candidates must be educated to GCSE standard, have 2 years administration /office experience, be computer literate, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. The successful applicant must also be able to take accurate minutes.
