Full Job Description
To provide a robust and transparent financial service to inpatients, outpatients and staff within Elmleigh using Harlequin.
To provide efficient and comprehensive clerical and reception support.
To provide a robust and transparent financial service to inpatients, outpatients and staff within Elmleigh using Harlequin.
To provide efficient and comprehensive clerical/reception support and generalised team secretary duties.
Order and source equipment and replenish stock weekly.
Only open to current employees of
Hampshire & Isle of Wight NHS system, which is limited to: Hampshire and Isle of Wight ICB, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare FT, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, University Hospital Southampton FT, South Central Ambulance Service or Hampshire Hospitals FT., To undertake Team Secretary duties as required.
To process patient monies and property on admittance and discharge using Harlequin system.
Follow financial guidelines and procedures as directed by Southern Health Trust.
Control unit petty cash requests/reimbursements and complete accurate records of all transactions.
Manage financial excel spreadsheets.
Carry out clerical duties for specific members of staff as agreed by Admin Team Lead.
To receive and send confidential information via email, telephone, letter or in person, from patients, patients relatives and staff members.
Order and source equipment using SBS and BSC.
Maintain the Stationary Room. Order/replenish stock weekly.
Process Invoices within timescales set out by trust finance department.
Ensure printer/scanner technical issues are reported to IT/BSC
Carry out and assist with equipment and security audits.
Oversee and control Taxi booking administration.
Unit vehicle management and maintenance.
Liaise with Buildings and Facilities Administrator regarding BCAS protocol.
Assist team secretary with document management/storage/disposal.
Support reception during holiday/sickness/break times.
Smartcard Champion. (Training given if required)
Fire Warden (Training given if required)
