Full Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Team Leader to join our expanding Appointment Centre at Whipps Cross. You will be a point of contact for our patients and represent the Trust with your caring, helpful approach.
You must have excellent communication skills and be confident in leading a team of Appointment Coordinators, You must also be passionate, empathetic, provide excellent customer service and able to work under pressure in our very busy environment which is essential for this role.. Previous experience of 2WW pathway is essential
The Appointment Centre operates between 8.30 - 17.00 Monday - Friday
The post holder is responsible for supporting the Senior Supervisors and Department Manager with the day to day running of the service.
The team leader will work ensuring deadlines are met and quality is achieved and maintained. The post holder will work closely with the Appointment Centre and 2 Week Wait team to ensure an efficient, effective, and courteous service is provided for all patients, GPs, hospital staff and other service users.
The post holder will ensure that all bookings are made within the agreed clinic rules and the National and Trust waiting times are adhered to and bring to the attention of the departmental managers when there are deviations from Trust protocols and policies.
