Full Job Description

  • Maintaining and updating records to ensure data and information is accurate and prepared for the management team
  • Managing electronic mailboxes, incoming post and answering telephone calls promptly and efficiently whilst maintaining confidentiality
  • Supporting the management team in effective complaint handling by assisting in complaints investigations, conducting research and maintaining complaint records
  • Supporting effective internal communication by preparing and circulating weekly bulletins, telephone and tasking lists, The role is part time working 24 hours per week over 3 days. Working days are flexible and will be discussed with the successful candidate at point of offer., The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work from home whilst also at a secondary work location, which will be a police premises. The successful applicant will have the option to discuss working arrangements with their line manager. All applicants must reside within the UK.

    Are you a motivated and organised individual with the ability take your own initiative? Do you want to be part of a team who deliver a victim focussed service and make a difference to our communities?,
  • Skilled computer user with knowledge of computer databases including Microsoft Office programmes such as Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Experience of managing and prioritising your own workload
  • Experience of undertaking administrative tasks including working with basic data, producing reports and other documentation
  • Additional Information: To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year 'checkable history' in the UK - ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.
