Tech Reporter

Salesforce Ben is seeking a talented technology reporter to join our team, and help to spearhead the expansion of our newsroom. The role will involve covering the Salesforce industry, as well as adjacent industries such as cloud technology, artificial intelligence, and CRMs, as well as marketing, sales, and service automation. You will be charged with covering new and exciting product launches within the Salesforce ecosystem, acquisitions, new technology advancements and trends. As well as engaging with technology professionals, entrepreneurs, CEOs, and leaders at Salesforce to understand the latest developments. Overall, your goal will be to advance our content engine at SF Ben to help our audience digest and better understand the constant change within the technology landscape. The successful candidate will be able to create highly engaging content, while explaining complex concepts and communicating key insights to a wide audience. Responsibilities:

• Creating high quality content for the Salesforce Ben website.
• Building relationships within the Salesforce ecosystem, attending events and meeting with members of the community for interviews and to ensure we have an accurate stream of information.
• Staying up to date with the latest Salesforce news and what's happening in the ecosystem.
• Investigating stories via your contacts, press releases, and social media.
• Attending press conferences and keeping up to date with press releases.
• Writing news based on press releases and press conferences.
• Reacting to and writing content based on breaking news stories.
  
  Required
• At least two years of experience working as a reporter or journalist
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Storytelling
• Research
• Ability to follow strict deadlines
• Networking skills
• Degree in journalism or another relevant field
