Full Job Description

We are seeking a Digital Systems Administrator to join us on a Major Project at Devonport dockyard in Plymouth, Devon where we are refurbishing the Royal Navy dockyard. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and possess the drive to pursue and expand knowledge into Digital Construction Technologies. Experienced in managing large databases and administering access. Capable in performing general digital duties, contributing to the development and deployment the projects site digital data capture system. The role will require a good knowledge of GDPR and Security. Providing a link between the onboarding, Site and Logistics teams. Able manage Site access/setups, Training, Inductions, and competencies through the digital system. Due to the nature of work at Devonport, BPSS/SC level of security clearance is required, only candidates holding NATO member passports can be considered and must have lived in the UK more than 3 years., As Digital Systems Administrator you'll be working within the central Dockyard team. Your day to day will include:

  • Act as a subject matter expert for the use of the digital system and provide technical support to personnel as and when required.
  • Maintain the database and system so that it is up to date.
  • Ensure that all information and access is secured in accordance with GDPR guidance and regulations.
  • Provide training in the use of the digital system across multiple fields including but not limited to 'time and attendance' 'delivery bookings' and 'Site Stock' both to the team members and to the supply chain.
  • Feedback hardware and software issues or updates to the BIM Lead and Project information Manager.

    Able to collaborate and work effectively within a multidiscipline and diverse team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have good understanding of GDPR and Security legislation and procedures.
  • Experience in digital construction, with a project'.
