Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Administrator to oversee and manage the administration of the Technical Office and to support the Technical Office Team in developing and undertaking strategic projects. The post is based at WMC Technical Offices, there will be occasional site meetings at CTS and Eastmoors as well as infrequent visits to tour venues for operational meetings. What will be required of you?

  • Ensure the administrative service provided to the Technical Office is delivered and maintained to a high standard.
  • Maintain and update all technical information on sharepoint and websites as necessary.
  • Promote hire operations of productions through WNO and international websites and forums.
  • Support the Transport Manager in complying with the terms of the WNO Goods Vehicle Operator Licence inc: driver & vehicle record keeping.
  • Support the Senior Operations Technician in managing compliance and maintenance on non LGV Company Vehicles. inc: driver & vehicle record keeping.
  • Support the Head of Technical Operations in liaising with WMC Facilities Management Teams for purposes of building maintenance, security, cleaning, pest control and other issues as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support for stock, prop and costume hires - maintaining a booking diary - reporting progress and seeking operational support from the Senior Operations Technician.
  • Support the Technical Office Management Team with strategic project work.

    Proven track record in an administration role.
  • Excellent organizational administrative and numerical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office and database packages.
  • Ability to prioritise a complex workload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of developing effective administrative systems and procedures.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable; hardworking and energetic.
  • Ability to work alone and under own initiative as well as in a team.
