Full Job Description
- Submit or review licences, permits, exemptions or deployment applications in line with regulatory requirements for landspreading operations
- Maintain and develop knowledge of sustainable organic waste solutions; keep team updated
- Propose or review solutions for all types of organic waste recycling
- Audit and assess operations for technical and H&S compliance; support team with training as required
- Active participation in bids including technical writing
- Business development activities including client development site visits and pricing
- Represent the company in trade bodies as appropriate e.g. Water UK, BAS, REA etc
- Compliance with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
Attention to detail and ability to manage workload - Communication skills to accurately convey information and to engage with all parties to secure permit deployments/exemptions
- Understanding and awareness of soil/plant nutrition
- Experience of recycling organic wastes to land and alternative outlets - preferred
- Knowledge of organic waste/sludge regulations - preferred
- WAMITAB - Level 4 landspreading - preferred
- FACTS qualified or similar - preferred
