Full Job Description

  • Aiding in the retaining of the 'AA+' grade from the British Retail Consortium.
  • Supporting all customer visits from the technical side of the business
  • Export compliance
  • 3rd Party accreditation compliance and audit preparation
  • Raw material risk assessments for site
  • Support and assist with unannounced BRC preparation & other customer specific audits
  • Implementation and maintenance of customer COP
  • Unannounced Audit preparation
  • Audit performance (Standard, Customer, Legal Requirements)
  • Customer Complaints Reduction
  • Maintain Quality Management System
  • Raise and close out supplier non conformances
  • Request concessions from suppliers
  • Export preparation and compliance, documentation and visits
  • Back to farm traces with suppliers
  • Manage & maintain the internal audit system, including audit assignment and corrective action close out system
  • Customer KPIs generation against timescales
  • New product launch preparation
  • Control label changes/promotion/season change
  • Management of raw material testing schedules to ensure compliance to customer and 3rd party standards, including risk assessments

    The right candidate will have a passion for food and an enthusiasm to learn on the job in a fast paced sector of the industry., Level 3 Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Level 3 HACCP
  • Experience
  • Experience of working in a food manufacturing environment within a Technical function
  • Experience working on specification platforms, across a variety of retails
  • Some exposure to retailer COP's
  • M&S experience advantageous
