Technical Delivery Manager

This role will manage delivery of requirements & drive the working within a squad/team from design till implementation for Data/IT Scaling through various release and non-release drops or align to Big rock programmes on time and on budget and to the highest quality. The Data platform is on Cloud with GCP being the primary choice and thus the deliveries would be involving ingestion and consumption from Cloud. The role will own stories through the development and test phases ensuring successful delivery to production within the release that they are scoped followed by a period supporting live usage of the stories to ensure production stability.,

• Accountable for the end-to-end planning and implementation of our data solutions to enable the various business units for their commitments.
• Aligning to the Cloud commitments of Data & AI and support the deliveries around the same.
• Leading a multi skilled data engineering team through the data development lifecycle.
• Help Facilitate Planning readiness by synthesizing Product Vision, Roadmap, Backlogs and through Pre and Post PI Planning events or RPMs or Big room planning.
• Ensures that story and technical dependencies across domains are identified and resolved/tracked so that story delivery is not put in jeopardy.
• Ensure that Delivery Trackers/ Tools are kept up to date to provide an accurate reflection of current state of IT Solutions.
  
  This position often entails coordinating and collaborating with different components & platforms within BT Digital ,Openreach and 3rd parties to deliver a seamlessly integrated solution to our customers. The successful candidate must have good Software Release Management experience, with excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to facilitate complex issue resolution across multiple products and business groups. The individual must possess strong consultative, listening, communications and analytical skills, be a problem solver with excellent judgment and strong initiative., Significant hands-on experience as a servant leader in facilitating programme level processes and execution in an agile environment.
• Significant hands-on experience of Software Release Management.
• Experience with Data Engineering using cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Have good experience in Agile Transformation in a Product Setup.
• Proven experience leading cross geography teams.
• Ability to work in an unstructured environment.
• You have great communication and influencing skills and can foster a fun, collaborative and energetic environment.
