Technical & Design Manager

Role overview:

• Ensure accurate collation and compilation of design documentation.
• Ensuring client design objectives are met whilst employing value engineering factors as to create project saving initiatives.
• Representing the client's & EMCOR's interests at all times.
• Take the leading role on technical solutioning and guidance on project deliverables to support Project Managers & Site Managers when required.
• Manage the end-to-end process in the development of accurate & comprehensive design drawing packages from initial design through to As Fitted drawings.
• Develop design solutions in adherence to regulatory compliance and best practice methodologies.
• On "live" projects undertake with the operational team onsite reviews to ensure quality standards and adherence to design are being met.
• Using IT systems to keep track of the design process.
• Support the continued growth of EMCOR UK's incumbent design team through collaboration and innovative solutions.
• Review 3^rd party design and cost submissions for accuracy and adherence to client specification.
• Assist the head of department in the development and implementation of innovation and technology into the account.
• Liaise with operational colleagues to provide technical support for day-to-day operations.

• Experience in CDM Projects in construction and building services
• Experience in complexed and technically challenging environments
• Previous management capacity in a multi skilled work environment.

• Excellent Communication skills either through virtual or F2F means
• Teamworking skills
• Diplomacy
• Driving License Essential
• First Aid Training (not essential)
• CSCS card holder
• Knowledge of telecoms/networks is preferable but not essential
  
  Working hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday
