Join us on an exciting journey as we revolutionise a major client's operations through agile transformation and the delivery of innovative cloud services. We are creating a ground-breaking, end-to-end on-premises cloud solution, designed to facilitate seamless interaction for users from various locations.

This ambitious project will harness the power of automation and reusable component design patterns, enabling swift deployment of customer business solutions. Utilising the latest in Windows and VMware technologies, along with Ansible, Terraform, and advanced scripting, we are set to redefine efficiency and scalability in niche infrastructure and applications.
We are seeking experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineers with specialised expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation and related products. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills with experience in maintaining and monitoring large virtual environments, coupled with a solid understanding of IT security and VMware security updates.

This is an office based role at our state-of-the-art, newly refurbished secure facility in Farnborough, Hampshire.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure computing standards, guidelines, and best practices.

  • Manage and maintain VMware based compute infrastructure.

  • Develop and implement VMware based solutions to meet business requirements.

  • Implement security best practices and compliance requirements for infrastructure computing environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.

  • What you'll bring:
  • VMware VCF, including vCenter, ESXi 8 and VSAN

  • Dell VXRail

  • Experience of VMware Aria suite

  • It would be great if you had:
  • Experience of NSX and Horizon VDI

  • Aria Automation, Workspace One, LifeCycle Manager

  • Security Best Practices / Secure by Design

  • Active SC Clearance

  • If you are interested in this role but not sure if your skills and experience are exactly what we're looking for, please do apply, we'd love to hear from you!
Although this role is advertised as full-time, we believe that flexibility at work can promote work/life balance, increase your motivation, reduce stress and improves performance and productivity. We support different ways of working and can offer a range of flexible working arrangements. So, if you're interested and need to work flexibly, we encourage you to apply and talk to us about what might be possible.
