Full Job Description

  • To assist the qualified physiotherapist in the overall physiotherapy management of patients in collaboration with carers, support workers, health staff and agencies.
  • Under the direction and guidance of the qualified physiotherapist, to manage and be responsible for their own clinical caseload of clients, following therapeutic programmes in order to improve their physical abilities and to minimise disabilities.
  • To work independently using own initiative, within level of competence.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and motivated individual who has the skills and ability to engage well with their patients and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant evidence of experience in rehabilitation is desired. You would carry your own caseload of patients with supervision and support from qualified therapists. You will also have experience of using highly skilled handling techniques to facilitate patient movement, and/or rehabilitation, implementing exercise and rehabilitation programmes. You will work with others in the team in the treatment of patients. To apply you should have a NVQ level 3 or equivalent plus relevant experience working in a therapy department in a physical health care setting., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
