Technical Lead

Task Description : Design, implementation, and full integration of interactive PowerBI reports within the existing IT infrastructure Act as team lead designer for the PowerBI developers and provide guidance where needed Ensures solution is fit for MR and compliance standards Work with global implementation teams Individual who is a self-starter and will get into development Anticipates monitors and solves technical issues and blockers Automation of PowerBI reports experience Integrating data from external systems, including ServiceNow, using REST APIs, ODBC drivers, and other connectors. Integrate Azure Monitor Logs, Metrics, and Application Insights data.Must Have: Several years work experience in designing complex solutions based on PowerBI Ability to lead and implement best-practice documentation standards Experience working with cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds Experience with PowerBI and integrating solutions with complex data sources Power BI development and reporting
architecture Knowhow for data modelling to provide schemas for Power BI usage Programming language: PowerBI, Azure SQL, Experience with data ingestion and, incl. hands on experience in designing, implementing, and testing Unit Testingsmoke testing Azure DevOps: Knowhow/experiences with GitHub Flow, Git flow etc., usages of branches and environments, deployments with yaml and release pipelines, PullRequests etc. Experience and participation for agile methods (Daily stand-up, Sprint planning and retro) appropriate usage of Azure DevOps backlog capabilities (kanban boards, tasks, PBIs/bugs, links to artefacts, ) Nice to have : Experience with project execution at Munich Re Experience with Databricks Exposure to financial reporting Required Work Experience: 2 years experience working with PowerBI and integrating within complex data marts on Databricks (1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions ;define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for
the team. (2.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity (3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations). (4.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
