Full Job Description
- Reviewing and responding to planning and licensing applications based on your noise expertise
- Represent the council at committees and hearings using your technical knowledge
- Responding to service requests and giving appropriate advice.
- Undertake inspections, investigate complaints, prepare prosecution files and undertake project work
- You will be empowered to undertake appropriate enforcement action as necessary.
- Visit and assess venues and events using sound equipment where required
- Providing technical advice to the team and supporting the development of officers.

Then you could be the person we are looking for to join our team!, As an ideal candidate, you will have: - A relevant qualification or experience within the discipline applied for and a working knowledge of the legislation and regulations relating to those areas.
- The ability to deal with challenging situations using tact and discretion.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work without supervision, prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written skills, with the ability to write schedules of work, summarise accurately and convey complex information.
