Technical Officer- Orthodontics

The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable.,

• Maintain timely and accurate records of workload.
• Liaise with members of Orthodontic team on progress of clinical workload.
• Pour plaster models from dental impressions for treatment planning and appliance construction.
• Pour cleft palate study models for audit.
• Accurate trimming, finishing and marking of dental models to a high standard using high speed laboratory trimming machinery.
• Responsible for recording all orthodontic work entering the laboratory onto the computerised records system., Maintain timely and accurate records of workload.
