Join JLR in their strategy to transform into an electric-first business. Our vehicle lines will offer increasing options for electrified mobility over the coming years to support a brighter, cleaner future. Transforming our vehicles to electric. You will be responsible for the successful development and management of enabling digital platforms and solutions, in support of JLR's Electrification Services strategy. As a part of launching new services, we will deliver JLR's customers an aspirational, seamless & luxury Electrification Services experience. You will play a key role in core projects of various sizes to support this objective, spanning (but not exclusively) Charging Partner Network, Home Installation Services, Onboard & Offboard integration, payment and subscription services, valet & emergency charging propositions and destination charging opportunities. You will join our Electrification Services which is focusing on delivering vast technology change as part of JLR IDT (Information & Digital Technology). You'll work alongside the team within the core IDT Commercial domain to provide strategic direction and advice to senior stakeholders across the enterprise delivering digital services and experience capabilities. You will also draw upon technical expertise from within the wider IDT team such as Security, Infrastructure, Architecture and Service Delivery, alongside strategic vendors to ensure the seamless provision of capability to drive maximum business benefit across multiple national and international geographies, sites and platforms. Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Acting as the day-to-day contact in IDT for successful delivery of key initiatives for Electrification Services, focused on either Home & Energy or Public / Semi-Public electric vehicle charging solutions
  • Technical leadership for integrating EV charging solutions and driving best practice on the technical implementation of solutions across teams
  • Accountable for owning and defining of IDT product backlog and roadmap for the solution(s) you lead on, as well as any immediate solution adjacencies. Prioritisation of technical development across the domain and co-ordinating of associated interdependencies, driving E2E delivery and facing off directly into counterparts within those teams
  • Defining and implementing best practice methods for technology delivery, utilising and challenging the appropriate JLR governance, tooling and documentation standards in place today
  • Developing hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintain technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses
  • WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Hands on technical experience of delivering and running key digitial services, particularly involving modern integrations protocols and ideally industry standard protocols
  • Product Manager / technical solution delivery role experience; having successfully led delivery of digital platform solutions / a suite of digital platform solutions, delivering outcomes to end customers multiple times
  • Highly competent in agile delivery methodologies, product teams' behaviours and wider delivery competencies including using waterfall and agile ways of working to enable the right balance of agility and predictability for your product and stakeholders.
  • Able to explain to non-technical stakeholders how key technical decisions will impact the capability, delivery, performance and longevity of your product set, and be able to make the right call.
  • Proven ability to deliver results under pressure, whilst responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority
