Full Job Description

Responsible for wing-to-wing execution of technical projects to deliver high quality outcomes to internal and/or external customers. This includes gathering and documenting requirements, building functional and technical specifications and overseeing build/test/deploy milestones to drive project delivery., Work independently, at the same time collaborating with all other roles within the team to ensure project meets organizational standards and customer needs.

In this role, you will:

  • Interact with internal and/or external customers and product managers to understand customer needs and timelines

  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams. Support them with scope considerations and project requirements

  • Demonstrate a high knowledge level of software development life cycles to collaborate with Build and Release teams

  • Ensure that releases meet quality standards and functional requirements within required timeframe and budgets

  • Work with fellow team members and provide subject matter expertise to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions during testing cycles as well as during and after the project is deployed in production

  • Demonstrate ability to influence customers and stakeholder through persuasion and influencing skills

  • Proactively manage project risk and issue resolution

    Bachelor's Degree from accredited university or college (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or related discipline and/or good understanding of digital technologies and software development, Collaborate with business and functional partners and technology leadership in specifying requirements

  • Define execution plan and approach based on project scope, expected timeline and available budget/resources

  • Ensure pre-defined project management processes and practices are followed. Drive simplification and improvement as necessary

  • Hands-on experience working in an agile software environment (SCRUM/Kanban/XP etc)

  • Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required

  • Manage project risks, scope changes and other non-standard events throughout the life of the project

  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting

  • Ensure quality of deliverables is verified and matching stakeholder expectations

  • Has the ability to break down problems and estimate time for development tasks

  • Able to work well with global teams

  • Ensures understanding of issues and presents clear rationale

  • Continuously measures deliverables of self and team against scheduled commitments

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Effective team building and problem-solving abilities
