In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous improvement of the operation of the department through diligent organisation and communication. You will engage in day-to-day processes to maximise effectiveness and time efficiency for the department, liaising between all areas of EDS and supporting departments (e.g., DPP Transformation, Business Planning and Human Resources). In addition to the weekly administration, the role will also co-ordinate department transformation projects to identify and improve the key performance obstacles that will unlock the potential of the department as the teams grow and mature.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Become the central point of contact for business operations for the EDS department.

  • Central point of contact for coordination of the inputs for the EDS resource forecast compilation and alignment in response to the JLR cycle plan and vehicle programme timing.

  • Responsible for providing status to budget for deployed resources by programme

  • Coordinate supplier ED&T orders and invoice confirmation by EDS Lead Engineers

  • Coordinate and ensure accuracy of EDS RADS agile board.

  • Collate, update and issue key performance data for internally owned processes (recruitment, budgets, resources etc) and ensure effective follow up and closure via the appropriate team owners.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need to have come from a working background that covers a wide range of Resource/Project Management and Coordination. You will need to have experience of event organisation due to the nature of the role requirements, and while experience of doing this in the automotive sector is not essential, it is desirable.

  • Essential:
  • Experience with Resource Management/Coordination

  • Experience with Project Management/Coordination

  • Knowledge of working with and handling business KPI's

  • Experience with Event Organisation

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you'll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and performance related bonus scheme. All this and more makes JLR the perfect place to continue your journey.

  • This role may offer the opportunity for hybrid working where you can split your time between working from home and in the office. At JLR, hybrid working is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement providing employees with more choice and flexibility around how, when and where they work, if suitable for their role. Further details can be discussed with the Hiring Manager at interview stage.

JLR is committed to equal opportunity for all.
