Full Job Description

Our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation partner with a range of global customers, working closely with major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, Iberia, Vueling, Air Canada, Etihad and Qatar., Due to internal promotion, we now have an opportunity for a Technical Publications Controller to join our team in Gloucester! This is a full-time and permanent position with a view to start as soon as possible! What will I be doing? Responsible for the compilation and creation of delivery reports for landing gears, you will have the ability to review all BTB queries arising from landing gear / hydraulic overhaul programs, in addition to landing gear and hydraulic test and re-certification programmes. You will support the programme manager for any unscheduled BTB requests and deal with customer queries both internally & externally, analysing & resolving issues. This role will be based around the management of technical documents so will require great attention to detail. You will be investigating a product's life cycle when required and ensuring full accountability is recorded. Key Responsibilities & Duties will include;

  • Receiving & analysing BTB data. Liaising with customer to resolve missing documentation & rectification of documentation with errors
  • Landing gear and hydraulics delivery reports compilation and creation
  • Compilation of final customer commercial pack
  • To act as the internal focal point for Key Account Management and Customer Support in supporting external technical queries for BTB
  • Review MPS data & update BTB status
  • Scanning commercial packs into SFD

    Previous experience in landing gear records and company signatory desirable
  • Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Technical Drawings & instructions
