The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. An exclusive opportunity awaits 4 students from the BA, MA Filmmaking and BA, MA Future Media programs! We're seeking skilled Camera Operators to capture the magic of "A Respectable Wedding " a captivating Theatre Production by Bertolt Brecht. As a Camera Operator, your role will involve operating cameras as part of a talented crew. Additionally, you'll be responsible for some setup and breakdown tasks. Previous experience in filming is preferred, but training will still be provided to enhance your skills for this exciting experience. Context of the Department: Be an essential part of Manchester School of Theatre's creative endeavours, where innovation thrives. This event encapsulates our commitment to high-quality theatre productions, offering a unique behind-the-scenes experience exclusively for BA, MA Filmmaking and BA, MA Future Media students. Responsibilities:

  • Operate cameras to capture key moments of the "A Respectable Wedding" Theatre Production.
  • Collaborate with the wider crew to ensure seamless filming.
  • Contribute your expertise to setup and breakdown tasks.

    This position is exclusively available to individuals currently enrolled at Manchester Metropolitan University, pursuing or having pursued a degree in BA, MA Filmmaking or BA, MA Future Media Production.
  • Essential:
  • Enthusiasm for theatre and film production.
  • Previous experience in camera operation, especially in live event settings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Availability on the event date
  • Able to work from 9:30 am till 14:30pm

  • Hours of Work: 9.30am - 2.30pm Details of briefing/training: Students must be competent camera operators but will have a H & S local induction
