Technical Services Associate - Deputy Stage Assistant

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. The Live Productions Team within Technical Services are seeking two Technical Services Associates to assist with the Stage Management duties for upcoming productions.,

• Collaborate with the technical team to ensure timely fulfilment of all props and furniture requests
• Manage the Connect2 system for prop loans and returns, and update the system with new inventory
• Pick and prepare orders for collection, and return items to shelves and rails
• Maintain and update the Technical Services assets database
• Keep the props store tidy and organized

  This role is only open to current Manchester Met Students who meet the following requirements -
Essential:
• Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
• Awareness of Health and Safety practices
• Strong customer service skills
• A genuine interest and passion for working within theatre and the Live Productions environment
Desirable:
• Previous experience in a theatre environment
